Savannah was born in Charleston, SC, and started out with the Suzuki method. She has since received training in instruction of the Suzuki method at the North Carolina, Memphis, and Ithaca Suzuki Institutes, in the first four books of the method.
Throughout her years of study, she has been the recipient of a number of awards and scholarships. She continuously placed as assistant concertmaster in the SCMEA All-State orchestra competitions, received the Burke Award from the CSOL in 2012, and attended the Brevard Music Center on scholarship in both violin performance and music composition.

She was the recipient of scholarships awarded in both violin and music composition, and was the Concert Master in the Petrie School of Music's Symphony Orchestra. She graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Music in Composition (as well as a Bachelor's in Mathematics). During her studies, she taught violin at the Lawson Academy of Music. Savannah completed the Artist Certificate program at the College of Charleston in 2021, studying under Lee Chin Siow, and playing under the direction of Yuriy Bekker.
In 2017, she established the Music Academy of the Two Rivers as a 501(c)3 not for profit business. Currently, she not only teaches the violin (and occasionally viola), but fully runs the administrative and fundraising aspects of the studio.
